Chris has worked in marketing roles for over 35 years. As Market Research Director for a London-based brand development agency, he led qualitative and quantitative NPD projects for leading blue-chip companies, including Procter & Gamble, Nestlé, BT, Hershey’s, Imperial Tobacco, Stellenbosch Farmers Winery, Friesland Coberco, and Intel. He has also acted as a consultant for the Singapore and Chilean Governments on new product and strategic corporate issues.
Following an eight-year sabbatical to fulfil a lifelong ambition to develop his own food business, he established the Care Marketing Consultancy, advising sector companies on an increasingly diverse range of issues. His wealth of business experience grounds his marketing advice in the practical and achievable. He is not a theorist but an intensely pragmatic marketeer with a passion for helping companies in the care sector. He specialises in advising on the enquiry handling process for private fee payers, and has personally visited over 1000 care homes nationwide. He has also regularly spoken at sector conferences on this issue.
He has been a Laing Buisson consultant and is a sought-after copywriter, both within the sector and for other industries. He was recently part of the team that rewrote the British Standards Institute website.
“Every family seeking care for a loved one deserves the very best help and service that our industry can give, in taking what are often difficult, stressful, and financially significant decisions. Part of what CMC does is to help organisations make that a reality for all their customers, now and in the future.”
